Effective date: 7 October 2026 · Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Developer: Naveen Raj (Playpal Apps) · App: Fidgety (com.playpalapps.fidgety) for iOS and Android

Fidgety does not collect personal data and has no server of its own. Your settings and tap counts stay on your device. This page says that in more detail, including the one occasion when the app goes online.

The short version: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Everything the app remembers is kept on your device. The optional one-time purchase is handled by Apple or Google.

1. What we do not do

  • We do not collect personal information of any kind.
  • We do not offer accounts, logins or sign-ups, and we do not ask for your name or email address.
  • We do not show ads.
  • We do not use analytics, crash reporting, tracking or advertising identifiers.
  • We do not run servers that receive your data. There is no Fidgety backend.
  • We do not sell or share any data, because we have none.

2. What is stored on your device

Fidgety keeps the following in the app's own private storage on your phone or tablet:

  • Your settings: theme, accent colour, haptic strength, and whether haptics and sounds are on
  • Which fidgets you marked as favorites, and which one you opened last
  • Simple counts of how much you have used each fidget, such as bubbles popped, shown on the home screen
  • Whether you have seen the welcome screens
  • How much of today's free try of each Pro fidget you have used
  • Whether Fidgety Pro is unlocked on this device

None of this is sent to us, and none of it is linked to your identity. Deleting the app removes all of it.

3. Motion sensors

Two fidgets use your device's accelerometer: Marble reads how the device is tilted so the marble can roll, and Zen Sand notices a shake so it can smooth the sand. The readings are used at that moment, on the device, while that fidget is open. They are not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. On iPhone and iPad the system may ask for permission to use motion data; if you decline, Marble can still be rolled by dragging and Zen Sand can be cleared with its Smooth button.

4. When Fidgety goes online

Every fidget works without an internet connection. Fidgety makes network requests in one situation only: when it talks to the App Store or Google Play through the system's own purchase service, to look up the price of Fidgety Pro, to make the purchase, or to restore one. See section 5.

The Settings screen also has links to this website and an email link. Tapping one opens your browser or mail app, which then work under their own privacy terms.

5. The Fidgety Pro purchase

Fidgety Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks eight more fidgets and four accent colours. It is not a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see your payment details, your name, your email address or your store account. The app is told only whether the purchase was made, and saves that answer on the device.

6. Permissions

  • Motion (iPhone and iPad): for Marble and Zen Sand, as described in section 3.
  • Android only: vibration, for haptic feedback; Google Play billing for the Fidgety Pro purchase; and the internet and network-state access that Google's billing library needs to reach the store.

Fidgety never asks for your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar or location.

7. Children's privacy

Fidgety is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children.

8. Third-party software

Fidgety is built with Flutter and open-source packages for on-device storage, motion sensors, reading the app's version number and opening links. None of them sends data from Fidgety to a server. The only third parties that receive anything are Apple's StoreKit or the Google Play Billing Library, as described in section 5.

9. Your rights and your data

Because Fidgety never sends your data to us, there is no database from which we could retrieve, correct or delete it. It is on your device, under your control. You can remove everything by uninstalling the app.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
