Swipe up, down, left, or right to shift every tile on the 5×5 grid in that direction. When two tiles of the same value collide, they merge into one tile of double the value. New tiles spawn after every move. Keep merging to build toward legendary civilizations like Skyscraper, Metropolis, and beyond.

Each tile represents a stage of human civilization, from humble stone huts all the way up to a gleaming Utopia and Supernova. The Codex in the menu shows every tile you've discovered along with a short description. Finding new peaks is part of the fun.

Zen Mode is a meditative, scoreless variant. No loss state, no timer, no pressure — just the merging loop with softened colors and audio. It's perfect for winding down.

Every day, a new challenge appears with a fixed seed and a clear goal — reach a specific tile, survive a certain number of moves, or stay under a move budget. Completing the daily extends your streak. Come back every day to keep the chain alive.

Every tile skin — Civilization, Ocean Depths, Deep Space, and Neon City — is available from the very first launch. Skins are a pure cosmetic choice; we don't gate them behind XP, daily streaks, or purchases. Swap anytime from the Skins screen.

Every merge awards XP. Your level climbs as XP accumulates and unlocks new Codex entries and achievements. XP doesn't gate content — it's a record of your journey.

Missions are short-term goals (e.g. "merge 30 tiles in one run", "reach 128 without using undo") that rotate regularly. Completing them awards bonus XP and codex progress.

Tap the "Remove Ads" option in the Settings menu to make a one-time in-app purchase. After purchase, the ads SDK is not loaded at all on future launches — no banners, no interstitials, nothing. Your support helps us keep building!

Tap "Restore Purchases" in the Settings menu. This re-syncs with the App Store or Play Store and re-applies the Remove Ads entitlement on any device signed in to the same account. If it still doesn't work, email us.

Game progress is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear app data, progress cannot be recovered. We recommend keeping the app installed to preserve your scores, streaks, and unlocks.

No. Merge Rise is fully playable offline. An internet connection is only needed to show ads and to process the optional Remove Ads purchase.
