Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 10, 2026 · Effective: May 10, 2026
The short version
Pippet does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers, and no required internet connection. We literally cannot identify you because we never see you.
1. Who we are
Pippet is an iOS game developed and published by PlayPal Apps ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy describes how Pippet handles your information.
2. What we don't collect
To be exhaustive: Pippet does not collect any of the following.
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Account credentials (we have no account system)
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising identifiers)
- Location data of any kind (precise or coarse)
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any other system data
- Browsing history or third-party app activity
- Crash logs sent to third parties (we use no crash-reporting SDK)
- Analytics or usage telemetry of any kind
- Push-notification tokens (we send no notifications)
3. What stays on your device
The following information is created by Pippet and stored locally on your
device using Apple's UserDefaults. None of it is transmitted
anywhere by Pippet:
- Your high scores, best combo, total kills, and play time
- Your selected character skin and difficulty
- Your daily-challenge results and streak
- Whether you've completed onboarding
- Your sound and haptics preferences
- Locally tracked achievement progress
Deleting Pippet from your device removes all of this data. There is nothing to "delete from our servers" because we have no servers and no copy of it.
4. Apple-provided services Pippet uses
Some features in Pippet rely on system services provided by Apple. These are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. We mention them here so you know exactly what's happening.
Game Center
If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Pippet submits your final score to
Apple's leaderboards (pippet.global, pippet.daily)
and reports unlocked achievements to Apple. We do not have access to your
Game Center account, your friends, or your other game data. See
Apple's Privacy Policy
for how Apple handles Game Center data.
Live Activities & Dynamic Island
Pippet uses ActivityKit to render game state (HP, score, combo) on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen during a run. The data is rendered locally by your device. It is not sent to Apple's servers when started locally, and it is not sent to us at all.
StoreKit (in-app purchases)
If you purchase Pippet Pro or leave a tip, Apple's StoreKit handles the transaction. Apple sees your payment information; we do not. We only receive an anonymous receipt verifying that a purchase happened. See Apple's Terms for details on how App Store payments work.
5. Children
Pippet is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, including children, we are by definition compliant with COPPA (US) and GDPR-K (EU) requirements for children's privacy.
6. International users
Pippet is available globally. The same "no data collected" policy applies everywhere. Because we hold no personal data, requests under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), LGPD (Brazil), or similar data-protection laws are effectively trivial — we have nothing to give back, correct, or delete.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and the changed version will live at this same URL. You can always check the current version at https://playpalapps.github.io/Pippet/privacy-policy.html.
