Information We Collect

Palettely itself does not collect any personal information. Photos you select for colour extraction are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.

Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Saved palettes: Colour palettes you create from photos
• Moodboards: Your moodboard designs and layouts
• Extracted colours: Colours picked from your images
• App preferences: Theme, settings, recent history

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.

Photo Access

Palettely requests access to your photo library solely to let you pick images for colour extraction and moodboard creation. Photos are:

• Processed entirely on-device
• Never uploaded to any server
• Never shared with any third party
• Only accessed when you explicitly select them

Camera Access

If you choose to use the camera for live colour extraction, images captured are processed in real-time on your device and are not stored or transmitted.

Advertising

Palettely uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve ads, including:

• Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
• IP address
• General location (country/region level)
• App usage data and interaction with ads
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Ad Personalisation

Google may use data collected through AdMob to show personalised ads. You can opt out:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > disable tracking for Palettely
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalisation
• In-app: Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent dialog on first launch

Consent & GDPR (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we comply with GDPR. Upon first use, a consent dialog allows you to:

• Consent to personalised advertising
• Manage options to selectively allow or deny specific purposes
• Decline personalised data processing entirely

Your choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time. Declining still shows ads, but they will not be personalised.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. These rights primarily apply to data collected by Google AdMob. Exercise them via Google's Privacy Controls or by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Palettely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Security
