Terms of Use

The short version

Pippet is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use under Apple's Standard End-User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"). One optional in-app purchase ("Pippet Pro") unlocks cosmetic skins and a small gameplay perk. An optional tip jar lets you support development. Both are processed by Apple. There is no subscription.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pippet ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple's Standard EULA"), which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

2. License

Pippet is licensed, not sold. PlayPal Apps grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard EULA, the App Store Terms, and these Terms.

3. In-App Purchases

Pippet offers the following one-time, non-recurring in-app purchases processed exclusively by Apple via StoreKit:

Pippet Pro — a one-time purchase that unlocks all ten character skins immediately, grants one additional shockwave per run (3 instead of 2), and includes any future skin packs we release at no extra charge. This purchase is permanent and tied to your Apple ID. It supports Family Sharing.
Tip Jar — three optional, consumable purchases ("Snack" $0.99, "Coffee" $2.99, "Pizza" $4.99). Tips are voluntary contributions to support development. They unlock no content, no cosmetic items, and no gameplay benefit. Tips are non-refundable.

Prices are set in your local App Store and may vary by region. All purchases are charged to your Apple ID and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Restoring purchases

You can restore previous purchases at any time from the in-app Settings → Pippet Pro → Restore Purchases. Restoration is also available from the App Store on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

Refunds

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We have no ability to issue refunds directly. If you wish to request a refund, please use Apple's Report a Problem page.

4. No subscriptions

Pippet does not offer auto-renewing subscriptions. Pippet Pro is a one-time purchase. Tips are one-time consumables. You will not be billed on a recurring basis for anything in Pippet.

5. Privacy

6. User conduct

Pippet is a single-player offline game. There is no community feature, no chat, and no user-generated content visible to other users. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the App except as permitted by Apple's Standard EULA.

7. Trademarks

"Pippet" and "PlayPal Apps" are trademarks of PlayPal Apps. "Dynamic Island", "iPhone", "App Store", "ActivityKit", "Game Center", and "StoreKit" are trademarks of Apple Inc. Pippet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Apple Inc.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PLAYPAL APPS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PLAYPAL APPS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Apple's role

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and PlayPal Apps and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or the contents of the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always lives at https://playpalapps.github.io/Pippet/terms.html. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of your country of residence.
